It’s been 10 years since the UK introduced auto enrolment, helping over 10 million employees save into a workplace pension. Ireland is about to implement their auto enrolment reform in 2024. What will their auto enrolment regime look like? What were the lessons learned from the UK and other countries?

About Jerry Moriarty

Jerry Moriarty is CEO of the Irish Association of Pension Funds (IAPF), which represents pension schemes in Ireland. Jerry is on the board of Pensions Europe, the Brussels based association representing various national pension fund associations. He previously worked for the Irish regulator, the Pensions Board. He also has a background from Sun Life Financial of Canada in the UK and Irish Life in Dublin.
